June 2010 Weather for Ireland

A quite dry June for 2010 in comparison with the previous 3 Summers. The temperatures will be slightly above normal too for the month as a result of above normal sunshine hours.

In Summary expect quite a cool start to the month but with the sun breaking through at times especially in the North and West, the second week sees the dry theme continue but the focus shifts more to the East and South with the North and West seeing mist and drizzle at times.

The second half of the month sees most chance of heatwaves happening with temperatures expected to reach the mid-twenties at times in some favored spots. As June draws to a close we could see some heavy thundery rain return that signified the start of the month.

Temperatures will be 14 to 17c for week one, 15 to 20c week two, 18 to 24c week three and to end the month 17 to 21c. So overall not a June we can complain too much about at all.
